1. Booking and payment
Inquiries and booking of accommodation can be done electronically via the villahygge.eu web site. When booking, the guest is required to give all the necessary information in the booking procedure. By confirming the booking details the guest as the first named person on the booking confirms that he is familiar with the General terms & conditions and that he accepts them in their entirety.
Please note that an additional EUR 100 is automatically added to any booking for subsequent cleaning efforts of the apartment.
2. Sojourn tax
According to the Croatian law on the Sojourn tax, guests are required to pay the Sojourn tax when paying for their accommodation. This amount is included in the rental fees stated in the respective apartment web pages.
3. Arrival and Departures
Guests are excepted to arrive at Villa Hygge after 15:00 Croatian time on the day of arrival and to depart at the latest at 10.00 a.m on the day of departure. If the arrival is after 10.00 p.m without specific notification, the guest may not be able to access the apartment until the following day. Villa Hygge is unable to offer refunds as a result of time lost in the apartment due to traffic jams or flight delays. In addition refunds cannot be made on apartment rentals aborted early, in accordance with the conditions of the respective booking site.
4. Customer's right to changes and cancellation
The rules related to changes and cancellations are in accordance with the conditions of the respective booking site.
5. Villa Hygge's liability
Villa Hygge has the obligation to take care of services provided, hosts and guest's interests and rights according to accepted practices in the tourism. The property owner shall not be responsible for personal injury or any cause of that injury for any member of the booking party or of any person at the property.

Only those persons named at the time of booking and registration may use the property without prior agreement. Persons staying at the apartments are not allowed to bring in persons who are not guests at Villa Hygge. Villa Hygge and the owners have the right to terminate the rental without prior notice and without refund if the numbers are exceeded.
The property owner or their representative shall be allowed reasonable access to the apartments to carry out urgent maintenance and/or inspection.
The customer is responsible for the correct and decent behaviour. The customer will be required to immediately vacate the Apartment and will forfeit the rental fee and booking deposit for any of the following: If the owners notice that your behaviour in the apartment or anywhere else on the premises is not adequate and decent due to inadequate use of drugs or alcohol or due to other reasons deemed inadequate by the owners. Nudism is prohibited. Causing damage to the unit or to any of the neighbouring units Any other acts that interfere with the neighbours' right to quiet enjoyment of their property. Smoking – please respect that this is a no smoking house and we request that you smoke outside – smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited. Other points to notice: Grilling is only allowed in the designated BBQ area. The premises have to be kept clean and returned to the state it was found when starting the BBQ. Air condition systems must only be used with the windows and external doors closed, and should be switched off when leaving the apartment for a longer period of time. The apartments' washing machine and dish washer can only be used when the guests are in the apartment.
10. Security, luggage and valuables
Vila Hygge is situated in a secure area and has no records of theft. Villa Hygge can not be held responsible for damaged, destroyed or lost luggage, as well as for the theft of luggage or valuables in the apartments. Any valuables left at the apartments are left at the guests' own risk. No refund can be given should customer decide to vacate the apartment as a consequence of burglary.
The guest is required to complain immediately on the day of arrival. The guest is required to cooperate with the owners or representative in good faith in order to rectify the problem. If the guest refuses to accept the solution that is in accordance with services paid for, Villa Hygge is not required to accept any further complaints referring to this service. Villa Hygge does not accept claims related to elements that are not part of the accommodation (noise or disturbance originating beyond the boundaries of the property or which is beyond their control, as well as for the breakdown of mechanical equipment such as water pumps, boilers, air condition systems, kitchen appliances nor for the failure of public utilities such as water and electricity. Villa Hygge cannot be made responsible for the weather condition, the cleanliness and temperature of the sea as well as all similar situations and events not directly related to the quality of the reserved accommodation unit that can result in the dissatisfaction of the guest.
Upon payment, the guest or booking party accepts and understands the General Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
